YouStink movement & other Protesters Occupy the Ministry of Environment in Beirut

A group of Lebanese protesters and members of the You Stink movement have occupied the Ministry of Environment, and announced they are having an open sit-in until their demands are met.

The protesters have given the government at a protest on August 28th a 72 hour deadline which ends today, for them to meet their demands. Their main demand is the resignation of the Minister of Environment Muhammad Al-Machnouq.

Hundreds of people gathered outside the building in solidarity with the group inside after police have locked the door to prevent more protesters to join.
